Guided Heritage Canoe Trail - Northwood to Stockton Brook

Follow the Caldon Canal as it traces the River Trent back towards its source, departs the city, through historic, industrial and suburban hinterland and into the rural tranquillity of the moorlands.

Guided Heritage Canoe Trail - Denford to Cheddleton

Follow the Caldon Canal as it descends to the Churnet Valley, under Hazelhurst Aqueduct, past the beautiful Deep Hayes Park and through historic Cheddleton.

Paddle along the summit level of the Trent & Mersey Canal, past iconic bottle ovens, historic potteries and wharfs, and find out about Shelton Steelworks and site of the National Garden Festival of 1986.
