Heritage Open Days is a nationwide event celebrating England's heritage and culture. It is also part of European Heritage Days, in which 49 countries now take part.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Urban Vision North Staffordshire, www.thepotteries.org and the Potteries Heritage Society have teamed up to co-ordinate the Towns Tour as part of Heritage Open Days 2010. As part of centenary celebrations for the federation of the six towns of Stoke-On-Trent, there will be a series of special Heritage Open Day events and guided tours of Burslem, Longton, Stoke and the City Centre (Hanley). Urban Vision will also be running guided tours in Fenton and Tunstall.
