On the 27th January V&A Wedgwood Collection will be hosting a presentation to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day 2023. They will be sharing stories of Wedgwood people who helped those fleeing Nazi persecution between 1933-1945. These stories connect to this year's theme ‘Ordinary People’; the ordinary people who were persecuted, and the ordinary people who were devoted to helping them.
The event is free. There is an optional £5 donation to Asha North Staffordshire, a charity formed in 2005 to help men, women and children seeking refuge from persecution. They actively promote social inclusion for asylum seekers and refugees.
