Hartshill Midsummer Fair

The Medical Institute, Hartshill

10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

A free community event bringing together local residents and businesses, craftspeople, community groups and public services around the twin themes of the environment and the arts. The Lord Mayor and Ward Councillors will be visiting all the stalls and entertainment will be provided throughout the day by local musicians, singers, dancers and sports performers. Children will enjoy seeing up close The Farm on Wheels small animals, and handling some of Christopher's Reptiles. There will be demonstrations of Fairtrade floristry, summer food-tasting, painting and papier mâché, wool-spinning and rag rug-making, willow weaving and woodcraft. Dogs are welcome outside. Stalls and displays inside the building and outside in market stalls, with around 100 organizations represented. A full range of refreshments will be provided in Bentleys Restaurant.
