Local experts and experienced cyclists will be on hand to guide you through the 12-mile route and to relate the history and heritage of these local icons.

Stories from Historic Narrowboats

As part of Heritage Open Days, Potteries Heritage Society is teaming up with Etruria Boat Group to explore the historic narrow boats, Keppel and Lindsay from 6pm and, afterwards at 7pm in the wharf buildings, to listen to audio archives from the HLF funded Revealing Voices project. This year we concentrate on the extraordinary women involved in the canal haulage trade.
