Type: Updraught Bottle Oven, Hovel Type. The oven collapsed in 1972 and only the lower part of the structure remains.

Date: A bottle oven first appears in this location on a factory plan of 1833.

Listing: II and within the Stoke Town Conservation Area

Past Use: Pottery factory established in the early to mid 18th-century and operated by the Spode company between 1776 and 2008.

Current Use: Artists studios, hotel and museum.
